The Project
The Project contains a collection of photos showing just one single subject in many different ways: « Settons Lake ».
Settons Lake as seen from its banks, its dam, during all seasons, from dawn till dusk, even when completly drained for maintenance reasons.
Settons Lake is situated in the French Morvan, a Regional Natural Park in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region. Settons Lake is one of the « Great Lakes », serving as a reservoir supplied mainly by the river Cure, historically intended to regulate traffic on the Yonne River and help allow timber rafting to Paris.
Due to the fact the reservoir is created by the means of a dam, during summer season, water from Settons Lake serves as an extra boost for rafting sports on the lower part of the river Cure.
